The Presearing Community would like to congratulate ArenaNet on 4 wonderful years of gaming excellence! We would also like to say "Thank you!" for the great additions to pre-searing in the form of Nicholas Sandford and Professor Yakkington. They couldn't have been put in a more perfect location. Several longstanding suggestions have also been implemented (as well as new stuff) - Style and Gender changes, Extra Storage, Equipment Packs, Account-wide Hall of Monuments, Nick and Yakkington in post-searing, Zaishen Challenge Quests, and the Zaishen Menagerie.

Survivor: Pre-Searing II

Can you outwit, outplay and outlast the rest? And like Survivor, we promise to throw in jaw dropping twists, shocking surprises and to keep you on your toes the entire time ${$default_wink_smiley}$ What is this contest all about? Well to put it simply, its a lot like the show Survivor ${$default_tongue_smiley}$ If you are chosen as a finalist you will be randomly placed on a tribe. There will be two tribes to start. Each week we will give you a challenge to complete. The challenges will involve a certain theme, and will always be a photo along with a writing portion. The tribe that ends up with the lower average will go to Guild Council and vote out one of there tribe mates. For more information on this contest, please refer to the Survivor 1 thread. Join Us for the Dragon Festival!

This weekend, put on your best imperial finery and join us for the annual Dragon Festival! After today's live update, Shing Jea Monastery will spring to life as the citizens of Cantha eagerly prepare for the commemorative festivities. Among the events planned are the re-opening of the Dragon Arena, the return of the Shing Jea Boardwalk, and a brand new festival mask! Head over to our festival page for all the details.

- Guild-Wars.info has been busy lately. They've added a new feature called My Characters, which is a tool for you to organize and display your characters in a whole new way. Check it out!
- The Webmaster of Guild-Wars.info, Kronos1980, has written a series of articles about the history of Guild Wars. If you read German, you'll find Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow a very cool read!
- Italian fansite Trip4Tyria is hosting a Guild Wars Dragon Hunt Screenshot Contest! Prizes total 200k in in-game gold! The contest ends on July 11, so start taking those screenshots of dragons!
- Congratulations to GuildWarsWiki.de! They are now a Specialty Fansite. Keep up the good work, guys!

Dragon Festival 2009
- Decorated Shing Jea Monastery and Kaineng Center in preparation for the Dragon Festival.
- Beginning at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT) on Thursday, July 2, 2009, the Shing Jea Boardwalk, Dragon Arena, and Rollerbeetle Racing will be opened for the duration of the weekend.
- Captain Rujiyo will be gathering adventurers in Shing Jea Monastery for special festival missions at various times throughout the day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- For the final events on Sunday, July 5, Emperor Kisu will visit Shing Jea Monastery every two hours, with the first event starting at 2:00 AM Pacific (-7 GMT) and the last event starting at 11:59 PM Pacific (-7 GMT).
- Imperial Supply Master Kagno will appear in Shing Jea Monastery as the event comes to a close at 11:59 AM Pacific (-7 GMT) on Monday, July 6. He will remain there...
